ATRON equips 864 buses and trams in Zagreb with modern RBL clients
Markt Schwaben / Zagreb March 2020. ATRON electronic GmbH received from Zagreb Electric Tramways d.o.o. (ZET) the order to modernize the traffic monitoring and management system of the city of Zagreb (Croatia). This order also includes the equipment of a total of 864 vehicles (trams and buses) with modern IT infrastructure.
With the modernization order signed at the beginning of the year, ATRON and ZET are strengthening the long-term partnership. By the end of 2021, a total of 864 trams and buses will be equipped with a high-performance RBL client. This consists of the driver gateway (AVG) as an on-board unit and the driver terminal (AVT) for display and operation. All components are extremely durable and offer ultimate operational safety. The latest version of the proven ATRON background software ATRIES is implemented to control all components. The data connection will be realiseed via a migration to the public LTE/GSM wireless network.
